Maunakea is one of the most famous astronomical sites in the world and represents the efforts of 11 countries and 13 telescopes. Access to the top is open to visitors that are equipped with 4 x 4 vehicles or come as a part of a guided tour. Here, one is able to observe the night sky in its full glory as a result of minimal light pollution and clear sky.
